Research Interests
My research is in the area of Coastal Engineering, using a combination of numerical models and laboratory/field experiments to study hurricane and other coastal storm impacts including storm surge, morphodynamics, the influence of vegetation, hazard risk, and post-storm measurement by remote sensing. My current research areas include:
- Influence of climate change on hurricane flooding and damages.
- Hurricane surge parameterization.
- Coastal storm flooding and damage risk.
- Wetlands impact on coastal hydrodynamics.
- Coastal morphodynamics.
